The [Avatar] tab is where users upload and manage their avatars. This tab is essential for loading VRM avatar files into AvaKit.

Uploading avatar

The process of uploading an avatar to AvaKit is as follows:

1. Click on the first tab named [Avatar] in the item panel.
2. Click the upload button at the bottom of the [Avatar] tab to open the file explorer.
3. Select the desired VRM file from the file explorer.
4. The selected VRM avatar will be added to the [Avatar] list and loaded onto the AvaKit screen.
5. Click on the desired avatar from the [Avatar] list to load it onto the AvaKit screen.

<aside> ⚠️ When you upload an avatar, AvaKit saves the file path of the avatar. Each time you select the avatar, AvaKit accesses the saved file path to load the VRM avatar file. However, if you delete the original VRM avatar or move it to a different location, the file cannot be loaded. In this case, AvaKit will display a message saying, "Please check if the file location has changed". Ensure the avatar file is in the specified path, or upload a new avatar file if it is not.

Deleting Avatar

The process of deleting an avatar in AvaKit is as follows:

1. Click the X button located at the top right of the avatar you want to delete.
2. The avatar will be removed from the list in the [Avatar] tab.

<aside> ⚠️ Deleting an avatar in AvaKit means it is removed only from the registered avatar list in AvaKit. Even if you delete an avatar in AvaKit, the original VRM file will be safely preserved at its original file path.
